Writing

I have a bachelor's degree in journalism from Ball State University. While honing my video editing craft, I also worked as a freelance writer and journalist. From 2013-2015, I had a recurring gig as a contributor for the Louisville Eccentric Observer, where I mainly covered sports and entertainment. I've also had stories published in Yes! Magazine,  Sierra, the Magazine of the Sierra Club, and Earth Island Journal. I was also a staff writer for travel blog Only In Your State from 2016-2017.
